    after translating what was said in the replies you got
    i to have a true liking of the e21 series bmw
    and i finally found one here in the uk a left hand drive 316 with only 48000 kms on the clock with full service history i was shocked
    although there is the usual rust on the old girl but its in surprisingly good condition and i am looking forward in restoring it
    i do agree with other people that it does need looking after like your teeth but as you learning it is a very easy car to work on
    and if cost for fuel is a problem there are things that you can do to help that
    Eg mine is a 316 poor fuel economy but by changing the differential ratio i have dramatically improved it although acceleration
    has suffered i dont mind i use it for long journeys as its very comfortable
    i joined this forum to find spares today and hope i can get some help here to
    good luck in finding one
    and remember does not matter which one you get thay are a classic girl and will be around for a long time to come

    Hallo, ich benötige Hilfe bei der Beschaffung einige Ersatzteile für mein e21 316

    Ich bin in Großbritannien und ich bin mit einem Übersetzungsprogramm so die Grammatik nicht unbedingt richtig sein
    i am in the uk and i am using a translation program so the grammer might be wrong

    Ich brauche ein paar Teile kann ich hier nicht bekommen wie ein Frontgrill in Chrom Teil
    Heckleuchte Einheit Dichtungen
    Kofferraumdeckel Dichtung
    Front-und Heckscheibe Kautschuke und Chromeinlagen
    ein Tacho in km Geschwindigkeit funktioniert sehr gut, aber der km zählen nicht funktioniert
    jede Hilfe jedermann kann mir wird sehr geschätzt

    obviously there i a problem with the translation so sorry about that s i will list it in english
    i need if i can find some parts for a e21 i bought and i am going to restore it to its former glory
    i need some parts as follows
    front chrome kidney Grill
    rear tail lamp seals
    boot lid seals
    front and rear windscreen rubber seals and the chrome inserts
    a spedo showing kms here is only miles this one is a left hand drive with german everywhere on the dash and switches
    which i like so i want it to be as it was made
